Neil Jacobs 

President and Founder

Neil is responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of 3Point. Neil is a retired partner of Wilmerhale law firm and served as outside team council for the Boston Celtics for over 30 years. Throughout his career, Neil has been involved in numerous education and basketball programs for youth.

Erica Rivers

Chief Operations Officer

Erica has more than 20 years of experience in sports as a high school and collegiate athlete as well as an intercollegiate athletics administrator. She has been actively involved with various boards and committees promoting athletics, women and minorities.

Joan Arches PhD

Director of Academics

Joan is highly accomplished, professor specializing in the development of curriculum and instruction. She has tenure at the University of Massachusetts, Boston in the College of Education & Human Development. Her passion is developing and implementing social-emotional growth and growth mindset in the 3Point youth.

Claude Pritchard

Director of Athletics 

Claude’s career in basketball as an athlete, coach, trainer and entrepreneur spans over 30 years. He specializes in development and training of NBA, NBDL, ABA, NCAA, NJCAA & AAU athletes. Claude is enormously respected in the basketball community in Boston.

Keith McDermott

Director of Development

Keith is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in athletics as a collegiate and post collegiate track & field athlete, coach and college administrator. Keith’s commitment to leveraging resources using athletics, education and civic engagement are core ingredients to his professional history. For his efforts, Keith was appointed by three different governors to the Massachusetts Governor’s Committee on Physical Fitness and Sports. Keith is the former Director of the Reggie Lewis Track & Athletic Center and is now also the Assistant Director of the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA).

MISSION

We seek to close the opportunity and achievement gap caused by economic inequality for underserved, low-income Boston elementary and middle school youth by providing free community-based programs that integrate project-based learning, athletics, dance, and other activities to foster the development of 21st century skills, social-emotional growth, and a growth mindset - all of which are crucial to future success.
