3Point has expanded its co-ed hiphop dance program to all six of the public schools we serve this fall. The dance program was the brain-child of Eliza Dushku Palandjian, actor, producer, and former part-time dance instructor at the Sarah Greenwood School. Our Academic Director, Professor Joan Arches and Twyla Everett, a local accomplished dancer, collaborated to integrate 3Point’s social-emotional development curriculum into an exciting hip-hop program. The dance program amplifies the values taught in the classroom. In order to offer the overwhelmingly successful hip-hop program in all of the schools we serve, 3Point entered into a partnership with Everybody Dance Now. EDN is a national program that brings dance to youth to foster youth development. Its Boston branch started this year.

"We envision all of Boston’s youth having an equal opportunity for achievement."

We seek to close the opportunity and achievement gap caused by economic inequality for underserved, low-income Boston elementary and middle school youth by providing free community-based programs that integrate project-based learning, athletics, dance, and other activities to foster the development of 21st century skills, social-emotional growth, and a growth mindset - all of which are crucial to future success.
